CDA provides Investor-Friendly Terms for Islamabad's Hospitality Expansion

 The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has come up with the plan to auction prime hotel plots in Islamabad's prestigious Sector F-5. The move is aimed at responding to the growing demand for luxury, five-star hospitality facilities in the city.

 

Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa during his meeting with a delegation of investors on Tuesday shared his knowledge regarding the auction conducted.

 

He stressed the urgency to increase the hospitality infrastructure within Islamabad, given its rising stature as a venue for international events and tourist visits

 

Improving the Hospitality and Economy of Islamabad

 

Chairman Randhawa said that the luxury accommodations are very important for the development of Islamabad as a world hub. The auction, which is going to take place, will not only increase the hospitality sector in the city but also play a significant role in its economic growth.

 

Key Features of Sector F-5 Hotel Plots

The CDA has selected two hotel plots, numbers 6 and 8, in Sector F-5. 

These plots are strategically located to facilitate:



  • Development of world-class hotels
  • Commercial centers shall be established
  • Serviced apartments shall be constructed

     

    These projects are aimed to help Islamabad gain more strength towards the business and tourism destination and also internationally appealing.

     

    Investor-Friendly Terms Announced

     

    Encourage participation, CDA announced attractive terms for all investors, such as flexible instalment plans over a period of two years;



    • Early possession on 75 % payment;
    • Incentive - 10% discount for full money up front; and
    • Deal with investors


      During the meeting, detailed briefings were given on plots to investors and a request was made to them for providing suggestions for improving the auction process. Chairman Randhawa assured them that if the proposals are practical then they will be passed from the CDA Board as well.
      "This is going to be a golden opportunity for the investors and a game-changer for Islamabad's hospitality industry," said Chairman Randhawa while reiterating that CDA is determined to support investors and make this process smooth.The CDA’s move is expected to significantly enhance Islamabad’s hospitality industry by introducing state-of-the-art facilities. These developments will further solidify the city’s status as a hub for international business and tourism.
